The tours
Why choose a guided tour with me?
A guided tour helps you understand the city better, meet the locals and discover original, lesser-known places. The route adapts to your interests and requests.
How do I reach the meeting points?
A few days before the tour you receive a message or a WhatsApp with all the details about the meeting point.
Who are the tours for?
For everyone. For those who walk with difficulty, a golf-cart route is possible in Pisa and Florence.
Where can I park?
Florence: Villa Costanza car park (then tram to Alemanni), the underground car park at S.M. Novella station, or private garages. Pisa: free parking for tourist coaches on via Pietrasantina, paid on via Cammeo and blue lines. Lucca: Palatucci and Carducci, and blue lines. Historic centres are ZTL (limited-traffic zones): access is not allowed without a permit.
Where do I buy museum tickets?
On each museum's website, after confirming the availability of the guiding service with me.
Are dogs allowed?
Dogs are welcome on walking tours, but not in museums — except in Volterra, where they are allowed inside.
What about children?
Children are very welcome: there are kid-tours designed especially for them.
Are the routes difficult?
Usually you walk on flat ground, but some cities have uphill streets: it's best to check in advance with me.
Booking & payment
How can I book a tour?
Send an email with the dates and the type of tour you'd like: I'll propose the most suitable solution.
How do I pay?
Payment is in two parts: 50% on booking (bank transfer or PayPal), the balance on site (PayPal, credit card or cash). All the details are sent to you by email.
How does the refund policy work?
Cancellation more than 14 days before: 50% deposit refunded. Within 7 days: 20% of the deposit is retained. Within 3 days of the tour: no refund.
