Maria Lombardo — licensed tourist guide, with an original eye on Tuscany.

For me, the essence lies in creating unique experiences, to be treasured in the drawer of memories. And why not come back for new adventures, each time discovering hidden corners and emotions never felt before?
Being a tourist guide is my true passion, which I cultivate with dedication, keeping constantly up to date. This commitment lets me convey enthusiasm on every tour, striving to involve my guests authentically. Every story becomes an opportunity to spark curiosity and passion, so that each visit turns into an unforgettable experience.
I love music, Latin-American dance and Argentine tango, art, literature, cinema, cooking, aesthetics, taking part in meetings and conferences in the tourism sector — and I adore unwinding in wellness centres.
Andamo con Mari is part of Terre di Pisa, the destination brand for the Pisa hinterland promoted by the Chamber of Commerce. It brings together more than thirty municipalities and local operators — hospitality, culture, food & wine, wine and truffle — to reveal the authentic Tuscany beyond the Leaning Tower: villages, hills and slow travel. Being a member means telling and championing this territory with a shared vision.

We recently had a wonderful holiday in Italy. In Florence and Pisa we had an excellent guide, Maria! Very knowledgeable, she spoke clearly and answered all our questions. If you get the chance to have her as your guide, you'll be delighted!
She was cultured and enthusiastic, sharing secrets and anecdotes about her city. Very empathetic and attentive to the group's needs.
In Volterra we had the pleasure of meeting Maria, a guide with a deep knowledge of history, art and the region, who shared interesting and entertaining anecdotes with us. Her professionalism was impeccable.

Every itinerary is well planned and tested: no improvisation, only experiences that work.
A different, unconventional point of view: I show you the Tuscany that traditional guides don't talk about.
Culture is for everybody — families, children, people with disabilities… and dogs too! 🐾
